Burgers Never Say Die

If you’re in LA and haven’t hit up Burgers Never Say Die, you’re seriously missing out. Tucked into the heart of Silver Lake at 2388 Glendale Blvd Unit A, this place is a total gem for burger lovers. The vibe? Think hipster-meets-casual—with a splash of classy and a dash of cool. It’s the kind of joint where the playlist is always good, the noise level stays just right, and yes, it’s kid-friendly too.

Now, let’s talk food. Their Smash Burger is straight-up legendary—thin, crispy-edged patties that somehow melt in your mouth and pack a punch of flavor with every bite. If you're more into keeping it simple, the Regular Burger does the trick, but honestly, simple doesn’t mean boring here. It’s still loaded with all the good stuff.

Craving something extra indulgent? Go for the Mac Donald Cheese Burger—it’s gooey, cheesy, and comfort-food heaven. And for the real hungry ones, the Double Meat Patties are not for the faint of heart. Each bite layers perfectly smashed beef with that crispy, caramelized edge that just hits different.

The setup is straightforward—no fuss, just killer burgers made with love and a whole lot of street-style energy. Whether you’re on a lunch break, out with friends, or dragging your foodie buddy along, Burgers Never Say Die nails it every time. It's no wonder locals are obsessed and out-of-towners make it a must-stop.

There’s something magical about the way they turn something as classic as a burger into an unforgettable experience. One visit and you’ll totally get the hype.

Hands down my favorite smash burger in LA. I have never had a bad order here. It's quality every time. The cheese sauce is a must for the fries. Thank you BNSD!

I'm currently on the search to find the best smashburger in LA/OC, so of course I had to try Burgers Never Say Die, which has been on my bucketlist for a while. The patty itself was excellent and resembled a perfect smashburger patty-- crispy, deeply browned crust with a juicy, tender interior. After trying various smashburgers, I've realized that it's not easy to get the patty to be properly crispy, but yet juicy. While the patty was good, I was not impressed by the toppings (ketchup, mustard, pickles, onions), that made it feel like a slightly elevated McDonald's burger. Also the price was rather high given the overall smashburger experience. ------ Smashburger ranking: Taste: 6.5/10 Price: 3/10 Vibe: 4.5/10

very well cooked burger with crispy edges. The staff are nice and have plenty of outdoor seating.

This has been on my list for literally years! But I never go to this area so it's never been convenient. I finally decided to try a new burger spot and the photos looked so great that I had to come here. One thing people don't mention with most of these places is there's no indoor seating lol, so beware if you're coming here for dinner in the winter, it was so cold we sat in our car. The food was great though! These aren't the best burgers I've ever had, but it's a solid option, I would say this would fall in my top 10 list. They give you a big bag of fries, and I love the way they cook theirs. The side of ranch is a must order in my opinion. The soft serve is delicious and they give you a lot! Now for the burger - I think the best order was the triple with everything in it, perfect proportion of ingredients and flavors, the meat was great quality and well cooked, I would definitely come back here... if I was in the area, but I wouldn't come out of my way. Solid option, I think the locals really like it because they had a bunch of Postmates/Uber eats orders. I know the reviews have bad comments on the staff, I personally did not have that experience, they were really nice, patient, and helpful when it came to ordering and suggestions for a new customer.

Came to LA with a group of friends with 2 focuses on our trip: 1. Hit up all the haunts and scary themed parks 2. Find the best smash burger joints and leave reviews on them all This was our first stop on day 1 I'm now writing this review on the last day, after having 6 burgers in total, just me Never Say Die Burgers have a very classic taste to them. They're very simple yet just done right. It reminds me of what McDonalds should be doing. The bun is almost exactly the same. I didn't get both of my hands drenching in sauce like at other locations here. Yet every piece was devoured. They don't really do add one here like other locations do or do they have a side sauce. What they do have is a nacho cheese sauce you can get on the side. Which was good at first but then became hard to dip fries in. And then basically resembled velveeta from the box after about 5-10 min. The fries were also not that great. If I come back here again, I will request the fries freshly made and well done! If they get it wrong again, I won't order fries anymore and will only come back for the burger!
